MACHINESHOP executed the advanced pyrotechnic special effects for the “Radical Optimism Tour” screen visuals for global pop icon Dua Lipa. Designed to translate the infectious, liberating energy of her chart-topping album into a massive live-performance spectacle, the high-concept tour visuals rely on intense practical elements to frame the choreography.
Our special effects crew worked directly with the design department on set, installing precision firing manifolds to safely deliver large-scale practical fire and sparks on a live trigger.
